Having been initially inspired by glossy fashion magazines, I decided to take my Colour as Commodity sculptural pieces back into the studio and do a photoshoot with them.  Instead of models I am using blocks of colour which echo the commodification of colour within the fashion industry.  The compositions of these photographs are carefully arranged, playing one colour off against another.  Once printed it is hard to tell whether they are photographs or paintings.  I enjoy that sense of ambiguity.
